Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Core Values

- Mission Statement The Mission of the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company is to provide fire protection and rescue services, emergency medical assistance, community risk reduction and hazard mitigation in a professional manner to our unique maritime community and to all residents and visitors within the Tilghman Island Fire District and surrounding communities of Talbot County. The fire companies’ goal is to provide these public services in a courteous manner 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week. We are dedicated, caring volunteers protecting the community.

- Vision Statement The Vision of the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company is to be a trusted and resilient fire company, as we strengthen our capabilities, embrace innovation that exemplifies excellence in volunteer service. The TIVFC will strive to follow best practices and accepted standards in providing emergency services, as we preserve the proud traditions of Tilghman Island for the good and welfare of the public we serve.
